Job Summary/Essential Job Functions: Under the direction of the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, this position coordinates the daily administrative operations for recruiting undergraduate, graduate and certificate nursing programs, student organizations, and special events. Serves as point-of-contact, within the College of Nursing Office of Student, to assist potential applicants and customers within the University.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists with planning, coordinating, and executing activities for current students/alumni, as well as prospective students.
Helps develop and implement student-centered programs for current and incoming students to increase resources and support.
Participates in the budget and scholarship processes on behalf of Student Affairs.
Provides ongoing communication (e.g., phone calls, scheduled appointments, walk-ins, e-mail, and virtual sessions) and guidance to prospective students for all nursing programs.
Advises prospective students advice on admission requirements and application processes for undergraduate, graduate, and certificate nursing programs.
Provides transcript reviews for prospective students; assists international students with appropriate evaluation service processes for credentials review (Nursing PhD).
Coordinates on-campus tour groups with Enrollment Services and other activities that encourage student engagement.
Coordinates nursing orientation and addresses student needs for the admission process.
Collaborates with the multiple offices and departments within the University to facilitate and ensure a smooth process from applicant to student.
Serves as CON recruiter for national, regional, local recruitment, virtual and in-person and maintains contacts for recruitment.
Provides recruiting activities to middle school, high school, and college-levels including STEM, and healthcare clubs.
Develops written correspondence for Office of Student Affairs, including regular correspondence with students, faculty, and administration (e.g., program deadlines), as well as correspondence related to program inquiries.
Responds to phone calls, assists visitors, and composes written correspondence/documents, as necessary.
