Case Manager and Medical Leave of Absence (MLOA) Coordinator - Counseling and Psychiatric Service - Georgetown University
The Case Manager and Medical Leave of Absence Coordinator provides triage, consultation, referrals, and general coordination of care to Georgetown University students and the wider campus community.
Their primary responsibility is to assess students who are planning to take a medical leave of absence for mental health reasons or who are returning from leave.
Work Interactions
The Case Manager and MLOA Coordinator liaises regularly with academic deans, university offices such as Student Outreach & Support, providers in the community, and parents of students.
Requirements and Qualifications
Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology or a related field - or an MSW
Licensure in the District of Columbia as a social worker or psychologist (if not yet licensed, then licensure must be achieved within 2 years of the start date)
Preferred qualifications
Experience in a university counseling center
