WORK SCHEDULE: The work schedule is Monday through Friday (four days: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm; and one designated evening 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm)

Under the general supervision of the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, the Program Specialist/WEOC Enrollment Services Specialist will be responsible for facilitating the recruitment and enrollment process by recruiting applicants, handling applications, collecting information, and evaluating and determining candidates' eligibility for programs. The incumbent is also responsible for representing WEOC at recruitment and other community events to promote the Center and attract prospective applicants; facilitate information sessions on-site and at community venues; maintain student record databases; prepare statistical reports as appropriate. S/he provides general information on WEOC eligibility guidelines and collaborates on the development and implementation of a strategic plan for marketing the WEOC, disseminating information, and conducting outreach to various constituencies. The Program Specialist performs related administrative tasks as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in the field of education, educational administration, recruitment and/or training, or in the analysis of program operations, marketing or customer services. The successful candidate must have strong technical skills and experience with databases. They must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must also have strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A Master's degree in a related field is preferred; bilingual (Spanish-speaking) a plus; experience working in a diverse environment; supervisory experience preferred.
