High School or equivalent degree
Minimum of 2 years of related administrative work experience
Strong initiative and innovative thinking in organizing information and enhancing student support, with a proven track record in team collaboration and customer service.
Exceptional organizational, communication (verbal and written), critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; ability to prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and work independently.

Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related work experience
Reasonable knowledge of UM policies and procedures, particularly relating to Student Services
Experience working in a public university setting
Experience with M-Pathways or equivalent software for student administration and curriculum data entry functions
Interest in learning Business Objects, working with data, and preparing reports
The College of Engineering's telecommuting policy provides options available to enhance our community and staff well-being.
