Job Summary:
The Business Data Analyst performs a wide variety of analytical tasks. This position will collaborate with university stakeholders to develop and implement analytical solutions and make recommendations to solve complex business problems. These analytical objects can include self-service reports, extracts, dashboards, mobile objects, or data quality reports.
This position will work closely with business partners, project teams and IT teams on the analysis, design, and development, as well as work with participants to generate documented requirements for development of analytical objects. Additional duties include develop and maintain documentation for all production analytical objects and sub-components.
Experience with Finance, Billing, or Procurement data is preferred.

Preferred Education/Experience:
An ideal candidate will have experience with data visualization and/or reporting tools, knowledge of databases and/or SQL programming, and/or experience in college or university institutional research (i.e. external reporting and analyzing institutional data).
