SUMMARY: Under general supervision of the Associate Vice President of Student Services and Enrollment Management the incumbent will oversee the ongoing direction, development, delivery, assessment, and improvement of recruitment, enrollment and retention programs within Student Services and Enrollment Management for Temple College. The incumbent must be proficient in archival, retrieval, reporting, and dissemination of student and College information. The incumbent must be familiar with laws and regulations regarding student information, including FERPA. This position is responsible for varied duties relating to career counseling, application processing, academic advising, financial aid application processing, student contact, student registration, and/or data coordination.MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL AND WORK REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS): Bachelor?s Degree and two (2) years of directly related work experience, or an Associate?s Degree with four (4) years of directly related work experience.

The incumbent will:
Review and verify all incoming forms for Admissions, Financial Aid, and Advising. Enter and update information on student forms, documents and transcripts into the Colleague computer system. Maintain and file paperwork within the Colleague system on a daily basis to protect confidentiality.
Cross train with Student Enrollment Services departments. Meet, coordinate, and implement plans for and with main campus and EWCHEC staff. Communicate regularly with Directors of Admissions and Records, Financial Aid and Enrollment Advising regarding student issues.
Manage student alerts for student caseload, monitoring the progress of assigned students, and providing interventions as needed to help the student stay on their pathway and succeed in their course enrollment.
Serve potential and current students by providing communication and support on completing the admission application process, career counseling, academic advising, financial aid, registration, enrollment retention support to include academic and financial aid suspension appeals, career and transfer planning. Provide students with appropriate admission, course scheduling, and financial aid application forms.
Assist with resolving complaints and provide options for students.
Welcome and greet visitors in person, by email, or on the telephone. Operate and answer multiple telephone lines and assist with inquiries, screen and forward telephone calls.
Answer inquiries and provide information on Temple College to students, faculty, parents and the general public. Direct students and visitors to appropriate College departments for further assistance as needed, either through email or phone.
Meet, interact, and communicate information regarding general admissions requirements with area parents, ISD Superintendents, and high school Principals and Counselors with emphasis on recruiting and retention.
Work with Temple College departments in promoting a college going culture in the community through Application and Financial Aid promotion and information sessions.
Provide general information to staff and the public regarding College matters and community relations.
Assess student academic skills and interpret student advisement testing.
Manage assigned caseload of prospective and current students.
Collaborate in the activities connected with New Student Orientation and Student Life and Activities.
Communicate and interact with campus Student and Enrollment Services departments.
Maintain confidentiality based upon FERPA requirements.
Attend conferences to remain current and gain more knowledge on industry issues.
Support Temple College programming in the local community as needed, to include summer programs and camps.
