The Assistant Director of Campus visits supports Undergraduate Admissions by overseeing an outstanding campus visit experience. With limited supervision, the Assistant Director is responsible for planning and executing individual and group visits for prospective students, assisting in the planning of on-campus and off-campus recruitment & yield student events, and directly supervises the Admissions Ambassador program. The Assistant Director also oversees a recruitment territory and ensures that prospective students are recruited, admitted, and oriented to the university.
A minimum of two years experience recruiting students for educational opportunities.
Experience working with volunteers or supervising college students and/or staff.
Ability to travel throughout the academic year.
Valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the university by the university's insurance carrier.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Extensive knowledge of Oakland University admissions requirements, housing, financial aid and student services.
Demonstrated experience developing campus recruitment events and managing a higher education visit program.
