Job Summary:
Proctors testing services for all Lake Michigan College campuses. Responsible for necessary data entry, retrieval, and reporting using Banner and related platforms.
Essential Functions:
Works as a team member to schedule, administer, and proctor placement exams and other testing in conjunction with Testing Services coordinators.
Ensures the integrity of testing environments and test results through the application of College procedure and practices.
Collaborates with other relevant departments, programs, and community partners to support standardized and certification testing with the highest integrity.
Assists Testing Services staff with general testing activities as feasible.
Other Duties:
Performs other duties as assigned.
Accountabilities:
Under the supervision of the Manager, Testing and Tutoring Services, works as a team member in the coordination, facilitation, evaluation, and promotion of an efficient and supportive environment in Testing and Tutoring Services.
Job Specifications:
Associates degree or a minimum of two years of standardized testing experience required. Excellent word processing, spreadsheet and database skills required. Experience in certification testing preferred. Successful candidates will have excellent interpersonal and detail management skills and an understanding of community college students and other community stakeholders. Must have access to stable, high-speed internet connection.
Grade: Salary Range: $15 per hour

Part time staff are not employed directly by Lake Michigan College with a few exceptions based on MSPERS retirement program. All others are employed thru EDUStaff, LLC. If you are selected for one of these roles, you will be required to complete EDUStaffs employment application and on-boarding processes. This position will be held in Niles at the Bertrand Center.
