Classification Summary: Incumbents coordinate exams and provide routine direction and information to students regarding policies and procedures. Responsibilities may include administering testing and maintaining the testing environment, providing routine direction and information, coordinating and providing testing accommodations and assistance for students with needs, and recording test results.
This part-time role serves both the Arnold and Hillsboro campuses.
Minimum Education and/or Training and Experience:
Associate's Degree.
Consideration will be given to applicants with an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in providing extended customer service to students, third-party candidates, and faculty.
Capable of prolonged standing for customer assistance and sitting for computer monitoring.
Frequent mobility in and around testing rooms and centers.
Competent in adapting to evolving technology and software.
Ability to learn applicable local, state, federal, and third-party regulations.
Strong customer service skills for interacting with students, faculty, and candidates.
Preferred Education and/or Training and Experience:
Strong Computer skills with troubleshooting software.
Experience in using Word, Google Forms, and Google Drive
Licensing Requirements: Certified Test Administrator Certificate
Classification Duties:
Administer exams following standard routines and procedures; monitor testing rooms; notify students or clients of test results, as necessary; submit academic dishonest reports, as needed. (B2)
Assist instructors with paperwork related to utilizing testing and testing services; ensure testing forms are completed correctly and are assigned to proper accounts. (A1)
Compile data from daily sign in sheets, including total number of exams taken each day and each type of exam taken; prepare data for weekly, monthly, and annual testing reports. (A1)
Maintain daily, monthly, and student records, including attendance, testing, and retention; update records and testing scores in appropriate software systems, databases, online folders, and websites; create physical testing documents as needed. (A1)
Maintain procedures and manuals for all testing platforms; review and update materials; ensure documents are secured. (A1)
Maintain knowledge of each testing program utilized at the College; ensure each program launches and operates in the intended manner. (A1)
Record total number of testing exams completed by each type of test; complete any missing data or make corrections; prepare completed exams for shipment. (A1)
Oversee testing software functions, including solving computer issues and performing software updates and upgrades; manage department inventory, ensuring supplies are stocked and maintained. (A1)
Perform other related duties of a comparable level/type as assigned.
