The Division of Student Development and Enrollment Management (SDEM) provides quality services and programs to all students from the time they first apply to Hostos to the point of graduation. Our goals are to support students' academic achievement for career development; enhance students' intellectual, aesthetic, and social growth; facilitate critical thinking skills; and promote civic responsibility.
Reporting to the Director of Assessment and Communications in the Office of the Vice President, the successful candiate will be responsible for the following duties (this list is not all inclusive):
Coordinates the process of student communications.
Coordinates communication strategies to ensure student communications are student-centered.
Contributes to the development and distribution of enhanced communications to pre-enrolled, entering, continuing, and completing students.
Coordinates and streamlines emails, SMS, and social media student-focused enrollment communications.
Liaises with software vendor (Anthology), CUNY/CIS, Signal Vine, Finalsite Connect, Robocalls, and Information Technology; attends off-site training and team meetings.
Leads and coordinates internal CRM training for staff.
Generates communication reports to determine the effectiveness of efforts.Helps analyze communication data across emails and texts for enrollment briefings.
Maintains campus user list of permissions and ensures users promote consistent messaging.
Ensures communication data is up to date for student communications.
Maintains the Communication Calendar and ensures all relevant communication timelines are met.
Essential duties require on-campus presence.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required.
The following qualifications are preferred:
Availability to work evening and weekends hours when required
Experience using CRM and PeopleSoft
Data-oriented
Microsoft Office Savvy (Excel and Teams)

Counsels students, staff and faculty on academic registration, admissions, testing, and related processing

Ensures compliance with college, Federal, and New York State regulations and policies
Creates and updates content for web pages, bulletins, and other media to ensure effective communications to students and campus community
May supervise clerical and/or part-time staff and coordinate work schedules
Performs related duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$51,781 - $65,945; Salary commensurate with education and experience.
