The School of Social Work and the Aging Studies Program are seeking a Part-time Lecturer to teach course(s) related to older adults and substance use disorder (SUD) and/or chemical dependency.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching may include a number of particular obligations which employees are expected to fulfill, including but not limited to: meeting with students during and outside of assigned classes, assessing student work and performance, preparing syllabi and course materials, instruct assigned course to meet overall course outcomes and program goals; assess student work and performance; establish and maintain an environment conducive to student learning coordinate efforts with other instructors; and assign and submit grades in accordance with established Eastern Michigan University policies and procedures.
Perform related departmental duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master?s Degree in Social Work or related field with demonstrated expertise of course content as determined by the director.
