SUMMARY Spring Arbor University is a member of the Crossroads League and holds national membership with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). The following is the mission statement of the University athletic program: The Spring Arbor University Athletic Department seeks to use the pursuit of athletic excellence to develop within our student-athletes a depth of faith, strength of character, and skills of leadership essential for a lifetime of service to Jesus Christ.
QUALIFICATIONS
Possess and maintain a moral character that is in congruence with the expectations of Spring Arbor University.

Have your Concussion and Cardiac Arrest, First Aid training certificates current, as well as all USA Cheer Memberships.
Working knowledge of Competitive Cheer and Dance rules and guidelines, knowledge or experience with USA Cheer, NAIA Cheer, NCA College National rules
Self-starter/self-motivated, well organized, detail oriented, excellent people skills, effective writing, organizational and communication skills are required
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in weekly monitoring of student-athlete academic progress.
Assists in organizing practice plans, travel, and competition preparations
Assists in choreographing and teaching routines.
Assist in managing program administration, such as program budget, equipment ordering, equipment assigning, squad travel and team workouts
Attend Athletic Department staff meetings during the work day
Commit to the personal development of each athlete
Follow directives from the Head Coach on practice plans and communicate effectively with student athletes, parents, Athletic Department, and office administration.
Help students develop a competitive nature, teach them about ethical behavior and good sportsmanship, and assist in the development of leadership skills.
Identify and execute program revenue generation opportunities in coordination with the Development department
Manage assigned social media channels, which includes planning, creating and executing daily contents
Participate in weekday recruit visits to campus
Travel for recruit signings, combines and competitions
Travel required to attend competitions, conferences, and national competitions.
