This person will be the point of contact for Course Program of Study (CPOS) and Part of Term Processing at Charlotte, which will require adjusting financial aid based on enrollment and eligible courses. This position will serve as a backup for withdrawal processing, federal file processing, study abroad, and transient study. This position will provide financial aid counseling both on the telephone, by email, and in person. This will include providing information regarding financial aid policies and procedures to prospective students as well as current students, parents, and other visitors.
Minimum Experience / Education:
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. University Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from a four-year college or university and two years of administrative or office management experience in the student services or related field; or equivalent. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
At least one year of related financial aid experience.
Existing knowledge of the federal, state, and institutional regulations and requirements regarding financial aid administration.
Experience with NSLDS, COD, EdConnect, & Degree Works Preferred
Banner experience is preferred.
