The Graduate Enrollment & Administrative Services Coordinator in the Graduate College supports the mission of North Carolina A&T State University (NC A&T) in achieving and maintaining preeminent status and to contribute to sustaining an organizational culture and climate that increases the admission and retention of talented graduate students. GE Coordinators foster an environment committed to providing exemplary customer service and will be responsible for all aspects of graduate student affairs from the initial recruitment phase through student graduation. GE Coordinators are full-time staff who administer the daily functions of managing the admissions applications, academic status, graduation and degree clearance for a designated school/college, GE Coordinators will serve as liaisons between the Graduate College and their designated school/college. As the school/college liaison, GE Coordinators take the leadership in expanding the services provided to graduate students in ways that enhance their professional development throughout and subsequent to their matriculation at NC A&T State University. The Graduate Enrollment and Student Affairs Coordinator will also work to improve graduate student success and the overall graduate student experience.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit:
The Graduate College fosters an environment committed to providing exemplary customer service and is responsible for all aspects of graduate student affairs from the initial recruitment phase through student graduation. Staff administers the daily functions of managing the admissions applications, academic status, graduation and degree clearance for a designated school/college. The Graduate College performs all administrative functions related to graduate studies at NC A&T. Over 13% of enrollments at NC A&T are graduate students, including over 90% of all international student enrollments. The Graduate School is responsible for creating and maintaining the official graduate student database within the University's Banner Student Information System for access by all other concerned units on campus. All admissions, activities and issues related to enrolled students, clearance for graduation, assistant roles and tuition awards are administered by The Graduate School. Recruitment of new students and marketing of programs is accomplished through leadership of The Graduate College and in collaborative efforts with departmental personnel.
