In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, the Registrar Coordinator will be responsible for the following duties:
?? Provides direct support to the Office of the Registrar???s front facing student service counters: in person and virtual.
?? Provides operational support for college registration operations.
?? Works closely with the Registrar team on projects related to student records including transcripts, DegreeWorks, and any other related part of the record as required.
?? Communicates with advisors and students concerning registration help, transcripts, graduation procedures, deadlines, and other registrar related issues via e-mail, phone, or written correspondence.
?? Assist with processing, e-permits, grade changes, change of major requests, class permissions and requisite maintenance in CUNYFirst.
?? Support with Couse Scheduling and rooming with the Registrar???s scheduling staff.
?? Assists with tasks related to the National Student Clearing House.
?? Maintains compliance with established record release procedures, including the Family Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
?? Participation in campus activities as directed by the Registrar.
?? Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required.
Preferred Qualifications:
?? Knowledge of PeopleSoft and CUNYFirst
?? Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills
?? Demonstrated commitment to providing quality student service in a diverse college.
