Columbia Basin College ("CBC" or the "College") seeks a Program Coordinator to assist with the coordination of the Early Childhood Education (ECE) program and the Bachelor of Applied Science in Techer Education (BASTE) program. The Program Coordinator will provide necessary operational functions vital to each program using knowledge and experience specific to the programs, while exercising independent judgment in interpreting and applying program rules and regulations. This position reports to the Director for BAS Teacher Education.

Monitor, maintain and project/forecast budgets in line with program activities, plans or priorities; maintain program budgets and initiate corrective action; assist with processes of requisitions, p-card purchases and other budget related tasks;
Provide high-level customer service and problem-solving assistance to students, staff and the public regarding the programs;
Assist students with registration inquiries; register students and enter registrations into the Student Management System ("SMS");
Establish and maintain records and files pertinent to the programs;
Provide and prepare payroll documents for the programs;
Construct, monitor and maintain the annual schedule for the programs;
Provide information and guidance to program participants, students, staff and/or the public regarding program content, policies and activities; promote the programs on campus to outside organizations;
Provide applications for potential BASTE students and monitor application materials as submitted;
Coordinate and perform complex scheduling, including but not limited to independently prioritizing needs of program participants;
Monitor program activities in relation to established program goals; determine variance from program standards within established program parameters; assist with program reporting;
Collaborate with the web ambassadors to update and maintain ECE and BASTE webpages;
Use word processing, graphics, statistical, spreadsheet and/or data base software for extra-contractual payroll and other purposes;
Confer regularly with representatives of off-campus organizations and agencies regarding the interpretation and implementation of program and institutional policies and Integrated Basic Education and Skills Training applications;
Attend meetings and/or conferences as a program representative; and
Columbia Basin College (CBC) serves the citizens of Benton and Franklin counties in Washington state with two-year associate degrees for transfer to a four-year university, and applied degrees for workforce employment. CBC also provides one-year certificates and basic skills for those pursuing a GED or high school diploma. CBC serves approximately 7,000-8,000 students each quarter.Columbia Basin College now offers bachelor degrees in Nursing, Project Management, Applied Management, Cyber Security, Information Technology, and Dental Hygiene.
