Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications.

Summary
This position is responsible for a wide range of support including academic, administrative, and student services functions. Work involves exercising discretion, analytical skill and personal accountability to the department chair, faculty, and online graduate programs. This position makes decisions in organizing and establishing work processes to ensure delivery of the program's educational, research and service activities, independently resolving problems as they arise, exercising a high level of judgement, independent thought and decision-making. Essential Functions The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: - Serves as primary point of contact for faculty, staff, prospective students, students, outside agencies, and others regarding inquiries about the department. Providing guidance and recommendations as needed.
- Initiates and maintains communication with students, faculty, staff and other stakeholders regarding departmental updates.
- Coordinates updates and edits program websites, college directory and online course offerings.
- Manages scheduling for all department classrooms and courses.
- Manages key and key card access to departmental buildings, rooms and spaces.
- Maintain and organize department office
- Monitors and coordinates course enrollment with faculty. Assist with logistics of special course offerings. Process and maintain records related to new programs, courses, and curriculum changes.
- Prepares reports and surveys regarding enrollment and statistical data as needed (accreditation, program assessment, etc)
- Coordinates meeting schedules for the department, organizes agendas, and transcribes meeting minutes.
- Maintains spreadsheets tracking student enrollment; facilitates student enrollment and assists with potential issues that deter enrollment.
- Prepares, prints, and analyzes student evaluations (FCQ's) and exit interviews for students each semester.
- Maintains policies and department level records including: laboratory usage contracts, student files, student progress, course files and updates, enrollment, course questionnaires, and assessment.
- Coordinates with the department, college, and campus HR on hiring of faculty, staff, lecturers, and hourly employees.
- Manages travel arrangements and reimbursements for faculty, students, and guests
- Prepares and analyzes course and projected course reports, class lists, and student evaluations
- Provides support and communication with the student organizations and faculty advisors.
- Creates and maintains spreadsheets to monitor department budgets and accounts.
- Works with personnel from other departments on campus to coordinate departmental activities, events, class scheduling and work orders.
- Manages and maintains program equipment, such as, but not limited to, copy machines, Scantrons and phones.
- Serves as a purchasing representative for the department, including grants, and manages shipping and receiving.
- Provide enrollment data and final grade submission information to lecturers for all program courses and ensure final grades are submitted correctly and on-time.
- Process volunteer and visiting scholar requests in coordination with college HR.
- Other duties as assigned. May include: purchasing and travel backup for college/departments, assisting with and/or attending internal and external events, assisting with accreditation projects, covering dean's office, graduate program support backup, and special projects as needed.
