The Enrollment Services/Admissions Advisor will provide high quality, efficient, and integrated services and outreach efforts throughout the entirety of the student lifecycle.The Advisor will explain, deliver, and enforce a wide array of enrollment policies and related services in a manner characterized by strong customer service and a student centric approach. Additionally, the Advisor will engage in the recruitment and admissions advising of prospective students to Wright State University, and assist with marketing efforts.
Required Qualifications::
Bachelor's degree completed by start date with minimum of 2 years of experience in an enrollment services area, customer service, marketing/sales, or related field. One of those years working with students and can include pertinent experience earned prior to bachelor's degree completion.
Demonstrated success participating as a member of an interdependent work team.
Demonstrated success communicating with students and others about enrollment services or related policies and procedures.
Valid Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications::
Master's degree
Experience with Salesforce, Slate, Marketing Cloud, Banner or similar complex CRM/ERPs.
Essential Functions and percent of time::
40% Student Enrollment Advising and Express Services:
Assist students and their families with Express Services (Admissions, Financial Aid, Bursar, and Registration). Services can be delivered face to face, via phone, email and in large and small group settings. Examples of enrollment advising, and services may include but are not limited to:
Registration activity for classes, and related functions.
Record release requests.
Process administrative drops and notifying students of schedule modifications.
Seek, obtain, accept, receive, maintain eligibility for, and return loans, scholarships, and grants.
Meet financial obligations to the University via available payment methods and strategies.
Provide Wright One card assistance, including card deposits, balance information, and utilize the tools for creation of new and replacement cards.
Perform cashiering duties and balances cash drawer, processing payments both in person and via mail.
Learn to use and increasingly use self-service resources (such as WINGSExpress, Schedule Planner, WINGS, WINGS Resource Center) and electronic forms, scan to submit paper forms, and perform other self-service functions that reduce phone calls and foot traffic.
Request special review through appeals, petitions, escalations, or other processes.

40% Recruiting: Represent Wright State in the community, engage with prospective students, and coordinate recruitment activities or programs. Examples of Recruitment Activates include:
Provide on-campus tours and maintains a thorough knowledge of Lake Campus programs, information, facilities, and history.
Attend college fairs and other external events.
Organize on-site events such as open houses, fairs, etc.
Facilitate connecting prospective students to faculty, other services, and offices to aid in decision-making and financial planning.
Work with Community Coordinator to promote housing at the Lake Campus.
10% Marketing Assistance: Assist with the overall management of the comprehensive social media presence for the Lake Campus, and provides insight and examples based on observations in the recruitment field.

Working Conditions::
Climate controlled office environment with high volume of customer service traffic. Requires some evening and occasional weekend hours.
Reliable transportation is required due to travel. Driver's License required. Must meet University requirements to drive a university vehicle.
