The School of Visual and Built Environment, Interior Design Program, is seeking part-time lecturers to assume responsibilities within the Interior Design program, which may include teaching one or more of the following courses:
Fall 2024 Semester:
Teaching software for Studio Courses: e.g. Sketchup, Revit, Lumion, AutoCad & Photoshop
Environmental Psychology for Interior Design
Building Information Modeling
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching responsibilities may encompass various duties, including meeting with students during and outside of scheduled classes, evaluating student performance, developing syllabi and course materials, providing syllabi and course materials to the supervisor upon request, and assigning and submitting grades following Eastern Michigan University's established schedules. Other departmental duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
The minimum requirement is a master?s degree in interior design with a focus on or experience in the course topics. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience, a Ph.D. degree, professional experience in the field of teaching.
