The CCEDirector
The CCEDirectorprovidesstrategicleadershipandoverseesthehiring,development,andperformance
of a team ofAssociate Directors andAssistant Directors/CareerCoaches.As an active member ofthe SCE'sexecutiveleadershipteam,theDCCE isresponsibleforintegratingCCE'swork across the Student Career EducationTeam,fulfilling thecenter'smission and vision, workingwith departmentalleadership toensure sound, consistent and comprehensive practices,policies,procedures,and a commitment to ensuringaccesstoStanfordCareerEducation resources.
Specifically,theCCEDirectorwill:
Integrate and prioritize diversity,equity,inclusionandbelonging intoallmanagementpractices
Lead a teamthatisresponsibleforengagingwithStanfordstudentswhosepopuationsrangefromfirst-year andsecond-yearstudentstoPh.D.sandPostdocs
Support student learningand career growthat the intersection ofidentity,community,andcareer
Experience leading andmanaging teamsincollege student development,coaching,andprogram development ishighly desairable
Provenabilityto lead a teamofcareerprofessionals,andestablishandmaintaineffectiveworkingrelationshipswith a varietyof internaland external constituents in a complex setting
Understandingofcareer education from a student developmental perspective, including narrative-basedcareerdevelopment,careerpathing,careerexplorationandstudent efficacy
The expectedpay range forthispositionis$117,000 - $144,000 perannum.
