The Athletics Department at SUNY Brockport, State University of New York is comprised of 23 sports. The Head Coach for Volleyball is responsible for all aspects of the Volleyball program, including, but not limited to practice preparation, skill instruction, coaching, player development, recruiting, budget management, team travel, scheduling, academic success, student-athlete welfare, and supervision of assistant coaches. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.
Three years coaching experience and proven track record of recruiting success.
Knowledge of NCAA DIII regulations .
Certification in CPR, first aid, must complete AED training within three months after hire.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university
Collegiate playing experience
Previous experience as a collegiate head coach
Previous experience supervising professional coaching staff
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledge of Front Rush software
