Big Sandy Community and Technical College is looking for an experienced Senior Administrative Assistant.
The Senior Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Department of Strategic Initiatives and will be primarily responsible for the management of the Perkins, National Science Foundation and GenCyber Grants.
This is a grant funded position.
Duties are as follows:
Monitor expenses, reconciliation of budgets, process requisitions ad maintain documentation for the management of the Perkins, National Science Foundation and GenCyber grants.
Coordinate grant reporting, completion of grants management tasks, and ensure the smooth functioning of the administrative and office systems for the Office on Grants Development.
Communicate with project directors and principal investigators to comply with grant reporting and budget requirements.
Work closely with the College Business Office College Foundation Executive Director and KCTCS Systems Office with processing and recording of all gifts, and pledges received to the college/foundation.
Perform general support duties such as preparing correspondence, memorandums, reports, spreadsheets and other reports as needed.
Assist with organization and coordination of the BILT and Perkins Needs Assessment as directed by securing space, equipment, food, preparing invitations, announcements, agendas, brochures and packets. Making travel arrangements and reservations and assisting with the event as it occurs
Associate's degree in Business and/or Communication or related field and three years related work experience, or equivalent, is required. Bachelor's Degree and Five (5) years is preferred.

Will be working with a cross functional team of K-12 and community members and will need to be discreet and professional with the ability to facilitate meetings.
