ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR, CAS Modern Language & Comparative Literature
Reporting to the Department Chair and Department Administrator, the Administrative Coordinator is responsible for course scheduling and other registrar-facing functions as well as student services within the Department. Core responsibilities include academic administration for language and literature courses in 10 languages; developing and maintaining systems and data related to enrollment, evaluation, and assessment. Responsible for course scheduling in UIS and other registrar-related tasks; assists faculty with classroom change requests. (Training provided) The first point of contact for student advising, referring students to appropriate resources; assigns faculty advisors to each major/minor and distributes advising lists and codes to faculty; processes
