Job Description
Position Purpose
The purpose of this position is to recruit new students to Century College. This person does this through outreach visits to local businesses, high schools, adult basic education locations, careerforce centers, job fairs, and college fairs. This person is responsible for assisting students through the new-student enrollment funnel.
Position Responsibilities
Directs prospective students? in-person, phone, through email, and web-conference meetings for the purpose of promoting, informing, gaining commitment to apply and to encourage students to follow through with the application process to attend the college.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree required from a regionally accredited institution or two years? experience in student personnel, higher education, or related field.
Knowledge of student development and college experience
Ability to organize and work on a number of assignments concurrently.
Ability to make sound, independent judgments.
Knowledge in and ability to use computerized database.
Strong oral and written communication and the ability to work with a diverse population of students, staff, and faculty.
Flexible and creative in meeting the individual needs of the diverse prospective and new student population.
Preferred Qualification
Bachelor?s degree.
M.A. in student personnel or related field.
Ability to speak in a language other than English.
Professional experience in student affairs.
Understanding of college support services for a diverse student population, including: first generation college students, low-income college students, students of college and students with disabilities.
Working knowledge of enrollment management concepts and procedures, student admissions procedures, new student orientation, transfer procedures, job placement, and career development.

Yes - *Century currently operates in a hybrid work environment. The hiring manager will provide guidance to the type of work environment at/following the interview process.
