Position Summary:
The Assistant Dean of Enrollment Management & Student Success is responsible for the overall administration, guidance, and support of the Office of Student Affairs in the College of Nursing. This person supervises a team comprised of professional and student workers to help execute all aspects of marketing, recruitment, enrollment, admissions, student support, and retention. The Assistant Dean of Enrollment Management & Student Success will lead the development, implementation, and annual updating of the CON strategic enrollment and retention plan and is responsible for meeting annual enrollment goals. As part of their responsibilities, this person engages in the Tripartite Mission of the CON, as appropriate for their area of expertise.
Required Qualifications:
Master's Degree required. The candidate will have at least five years of experience in higher education with at least three years of administrative experience. Must have experience in oversight of student services to include enrollment management, student success, marketing, advising, and career development.

Demonstrate an understanding of best-practice student recruitment and retention strategies.
Well-organized and efficient in time management.
Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and external constituents.
Demonstrate excellent oral/written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Must be self-directed, exercise strong independent judgement, and function with minimal supervision while administering technology related programs.
Demonstrate management and leadership skills.
Autonomous in initiating desired work product.
Ability to articulate ideas and communicate with a variety of community members and project members.
Ability to develop and monitor widely varying details of technology related programs.
Must maintain and respect confidentiality of information.
Interpersonal skills that support an environment of respect, transparency, and sense of belonging
Working knowledge of applicable university policies and procedures and CON policies and procedures in student services settings.
