Required:
- Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Teaching, Student Affairs or related field
- Two or more years of experience in a college or university providing academic support or teaching college students
- Experience with supervision of student leaders
- Knowledge of study skills and learning styles literature and resources
- Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with members of the college community
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Problem resolution skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge and proficiency using MS Office Programs, specifically Microsoft Excel and general reporting knowledge required (or any other software specific to the job)
- Ability to manage confidential materials and maintain confidentiality when working on specific tasks or projects
- Possess a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks and resources appropriately
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Experience working with a diverse population and a commitment to diversity
- Excellent written, oral communication and computer skills
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
Physical Requirements:
- Standing, sitting, manual dexterity, ability to move between offices and floors of buildings
- Ability to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure
- Ability to be physically in attendance at designated worksite during scheduled work hours and to work some evenings and weekends
- Normal range of vision and hearing (with or without correction)
- Ability to lift up to 5 – 10 lbs.
