Social Work Clinical Supervisor is to provide Clinical Supervision to SW Field placement interns and clinical staff. Formulate and diagnose individual problems and develop treatment plans. Assists clients with complex personal, social, career and behavioral health concerns. Assists with triage counseling services. Facilitate workshops and mental health outreach activities. Performs other duties assigned.
Essential Duties:
Provide direct clinical services including individual and group counseling to assist clients with complex personal, social and career concerns.
Provide clinical supervision/evaluation for Social Work Field Placement Interns.
Provide clinical supervision for Unlicensed Social Work Staff and Licensed Social Work Staff as needed.
Facilitate psychoeducational groups, workshops, and outreach activities.
Provide consultation and support to faculty, staff, and students. Complete clinical documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work and licensed as a clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
Minimum of five (5) years experience as a licensed clinical social worker.
Texas Board of Social Workers Approved Supervisor Designation.
Previous experience in a college mental health environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional knowledge and skills in Clinical Social Work.
Professional knowledge and skills as a Clinical Social Worker Supervisor.
Knowledgeable in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders.
Excellent communications skill.
Microsoft office suite, presentation, and organizational skills.
