Vice President and Vice Provost, Student Success & Enrollment Management
Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) invites nominations, inquiries, and applications for the position of Vice President and Vice Provost for Student Success and Enrollment Management VP). Reporting directly to President Aysegul Timur, with a dotted line to the Executive Vice President and Provost and works collaboratively with other members of the President’s Cabinet. Provides leadership in the delivery of all policies, programs, and activities that promote and advance the University’s mission and strategic plan for improving Student Success. Ensures that the campus environment supports and nurtures the personal, cultural, and general welfare of the student body while maintaining the administrative, budgetary, and accountability functions of the Division of Student Success & Enrollment Management. Collaborates extensively with other campus leaders to ensure that positive improvements are made in student retention, student persistence, four-year graduation rate, and employability following graduation.

The Division of Student Success & Enrollment Management is guided by the FGCU Student Success Plan, approved by the Board of Governors in September 2024, which is a cornerstone for advancing student success initiatives, including the Early Alert system. This plan supports a range of academic, social, and professional growth services such as advising, career development, student life, housing, and health services, all contributing to the Division’s mission of improving retention, persistence, and career readiness. FGCU’s commitment to a student-centered experience is bolstered by data-driven strategies, with additional performance-based funding tied to achieving critical milestones by March 2025.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have a minimum of sixteen years of related full-time experience or a doctoral degree with six years of relevant experience. Senior management experience at the Dean level or higher in higher education is required, ideally in student affairs, academic engagement, or enrollment management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in data analytics, decision-making, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture focused on student success and well-being. Preferred experience includes roles such as Dean, Associate Vice President, or Vice President in fields related to academic affairs, student affairs, or enrollment management.
