WORK SCHEDULE: The work schedule is 12 hours per week between the hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm on Monday/Tuesday/Friday, and 9:00am - 7:00pm on Wednesday/Thursday.
HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $16.25 per hour. No benefits.

Job Description:
The P/T Registration Clerk will provide general office support and customer service for the Registrar's Office on the SUNY Westchester Valhalla campus. Responsibilities include monitoring the front counter; assisting students with registering for classes; answering student inquiries via phone and email; maintaining back-up files of student programs, courses, grades and related records; using computer applications or other automated systems such as word processing, calendar, e-mail, document imaging, and database software in performing work assignments; and other incidental tasks, as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The candidate must possess a high school or equivalency diploma and one year of data entry or word processing experience, including or supplemented by one year of experience involving obtaining information from the general public or clients.
All candidates must have evidence of responsiveness to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students and evidence of equity-minded practice in all college policies, practices, and personnel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is strongly preferred.
