This position is responsible for creating an environment favorable to learning and personal growth of students enrolled in the adult basic education setting, establishing effective rapport with students, assisting students with overcoming challenges that impede learning, assisting students in making educational, occupational, and personal decisions that hold promise for their personal fulfillment as mature and responsible men and women and establishing quality relationships with parents and other colleagues.  This role requires daily interpersonal contact with a wide variety of internal and external constituencies, along with excellent organizational and time management skills.
