Overview
Develop admission strategies to meet the Universitys international enrollment and admission goals for the campus in New York. Serve as an expert on all matters related to the evaluation of students educated outside of the United States, and as deputy in the Directors absence. Market NYU and conduct outreach, follow-up, and data capture activities for assigned countries. Foster strong relationships with target international schools and audiences to strategically contribute to realizing the vision of NYUs global network. Manage a team of admissions counseling professionals. Represent NYU to wide and diverse audiences around the world. Advise prospective students, parents, and high school/transfer counselors regarding admissions policies, procedures, academic programs, and financial aid opportunities. Evaluate applications and recommend admissions decisions for all of NYUs undergraduate colleges; review and evaluate credentials. Responsibilities
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education: Master's Degree
Required Experience: 5+ years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience in an admissions office or academic setting including student recruitment, financial aid, student life or housing, and staff supervision.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Training, managing and developing staff. Ability to evaluate international credentials and extensive knowledge of international educational systems. Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, strategic planning and customer service skills.
Qualifications
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $72,000.00 to USD $92,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
