General Description | Coordinate the development and implementation of student leadership, extra-curricular and co-curricular activities and events at the Collegeâ™s Regional Centers, as well as provides assistance to the Manager of Student Clubs and Activities with planning and coordinating of overall Student Life program. This program includes educational activities that enhance the Collegeâ™s mission and promote student social and cultural development, in addition to programs/services that enhance a sense of community and belonging. Assists student clubs and organizations at the Regional Centers in achieving programming and service goals, serves as the Regional Center liaison to Main Campus for student club/org officers and leaders. The position is primarily housed at Northeast Regional Center with responsibilities and office hours for two other Regional Centers (West Regional Center/Career and Advanced Technology Center) and some Main Campus responsibilities. |

Specific Responsibilities | - Plans and implements major student-focused events and campus traditions at each Regional Center campus. Such major events include Black & Gold Bash/Student Involvement Day, Spring Fling/Roarchella, monthly cultural/thematic programs and assistance with New Student Orientation.
- Coordinate and collaborate with Regional Center campus partners to implement co-curricular programs to support the co-curricular pathway and campus-wide calendar.
- Assist with the program planning and implementation, and attend/support all campus engagement activities and programs hosted at the Main Campus and Regional Centers.
- Support the Assistant Dean of Students with the planning and implementation of the Collegeâ™s annual New Student Orientation programs â“ particularly at the Regional Centers, serving as the liaison to the Center Directors â“ and Commencement exercises, including related graduation celebrations/ceremonies (i.e., Academic Awards Ceremony), in collaboration with numerous other campus constituents.
- Maintain accurate and current files pertaining to student programs.
- Develop program goals and establish procedures for planning and evaluating programming efforts to ensure successful student learning outcomes.
- Works in collaboration with Main Campus staff, as well as works collaboratively with a wide range of students, student groups, administrative staff and faculty.
- Assists Regional Center-based students clubs and Main Campus-based clubsâ™ outreach efforts in achieving programming and service goals.
- Assists in the development of guidelines and procedures; assists in the implementation of policies and regulations related to programs and activities at Regional Centers.
- Assist the Director of Student Engagement with all aspects of the Lion Leaders program including recruitment, selection, training, monitoring, and scheduling; work with the student leaders to create a broad range of student-led and focused programs that reflect a diverse student population at the Regional Centers.
- Support the Manager of Student Clubs and Activities on all student involvement and engagement programs.
- Secures, coordinates and follows through with the logistics necessary for the implementation of programs.
- Provides supervision, planning and implementation of Student Life programming efforts at the Regional Centers.
- Provide support and management of all student ticket sales at the Regional Centers in coordination with the Assistant Director of Student Clubs and Activities.
- Serves as a Regional Centers student programs liaison, in collaboration and coordination with the Assistant Director of Student Clubs and Activities, for all Division of Student Development offices.
- Participate in campus-wide committees as needed.
- Exercises fiscal management of appropriate budget lines.
- Assists in campus-wide programs and initiatives.
- Delivers quality customer services to both internal and external constituents in a professional, helpful and courteous manner.
- Performs assigned duties in a manner consistent with the mission, goals and core values of the College.
- Maintains sensitivity, understanding and respect for a diverse academic environment, inclusive of students, faculty and staff of varying social, cultural, ideological and ethnic backgrounds.

Minimum Qualifications | - Bachelorâ™s degree required.
- Two (2) to three (3) years of related experience required including demonstrated experience in program and event planning and assessment that includes evidence of independent judgment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to express oneself concisely and clearly with a wide range of individuals and constituencies required.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 required.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community along with high standards of integrity, credibility, reliability and confidentiality required.
- Ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality with all student academic and non-academic records required.
- Sound judgment and the ability to conduct oneself in a highly professional manner with a customer service focus required.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize, multi-task and organize time effectively required.
- Ability to work independently required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in time management, oral/written communication, and organizational skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, both as team leader and participant required.
- Must have valid driverâ™s license and access to personal auto transportation, as travel between the sites is required.
- Commitment to providing services to diverse student populations is required.

Preferred Qualifications | - Masterâ™s degree in student personnel, higher education or related field preferred.
- Prior supervisory and financial management experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and integrated management software such as Ellucian Banner and student involvement platforms preferred.
- Demonstrated success collaborating with faculty, nurturing student development, and cultivating campus initiatives preferred.
- Understanding and demonstrated ability to mentor/provide advocacy and interact with wide range and diverse student population preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in the planning, implementation and assessment of comprehensive programs and services to students leading to improved student engagement and persistence preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in integrating and using technology in the delivery and assessment of programs, services and activities, as well as using technology as a tool for collecting, analyzing and reporting data required; experience with the usage and application of social media preferred.
