Classification: MnSCU Academic Professional II
Unlimited, Full-time
8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday – Friday)
*A flexible work schedule may be approved with up to two days remote work per week.
Salary Range: Hourly from $25.29 to $36.71; Annually from $52,806 to $76,650
*Salary placement is dependent on education and experience

THE POSITION
Under limited supervision, the Student Resource Center Coordinator assists in developing and implementing the direction of the Student Resource Center. The Student Resource Center supports students with nonacademic basic needs such as healthcare, housing, childcare, food support, transportation, and other targeted student support services.
The Student Resource Center Coordinator provides ongoing support to students and uses analytical reasoning to determine alternative solutions to problems facing students. This position coordinates a wide variety of operations to ensure that the Student Resource Center functions in an organized and efficient manner.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications: (expected to have to enter job)
Bachelor’s Degree AND at least two (2) years of professional experience in providing basic needs services, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to work effectively with students from diverse and traditionally underserved backgrounds and with varied needs.
Ability to establish and implement positive procedures when dealing with unexpected
Preferred: (desired but not expected to have to enter job)
Demonstrated experience in basic needs services or case
Previous direct student services experience (can include high school, community college, university, and/or non-profit/state agency specializing in supporting students).
Demonstrated knowledge of public benefits
Working proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Somali, Hmong, Spanish, or
Communication sufficient to prepare messages and materials for diverse audiences and clearly explain, discuss, and present complex ideas, regulations, policies and/or
