Brief Summary of Work for this Position: The Counseling Center is the main student mental health resource on campus and a key partner in the University's efforts to advance health and wellbeing for all students. The Center is firmly rooted in a student affairs / developmental tradition, and it is a strong collaborator with other student affairs and academic affairs departments.
This position will work with the Counseling Center team and reports to the Director, Counseling Center and University Testing Services. Work involves advanced professional level clerical assignments that are related to reception, public contact, answering questions about Counseling Center's programs and services, entering accurate information in the Titanium electronic health record system, managing complex schedules, coordination of processes or programs, assists with record requests, correspondence, providing clerical support to the Counseling Center staff, and other clerical duties as assigned. Work requires specialized knowledge of departmental programs or policies, and other UNCW specific procedures. Must comply with confidentiality regulations.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Graduation from high school or equivalency. A demonstrated possession of experience to perform the duties. Requires knowledge of confidentiality regulations.
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Previous experience working in a college health setting, or a medical office. Previous experience working with Banner and/or a medical appointment system.
