The associate dean of wellbeing and BentleyPlus is responsible for the centers of health, counseling, and BentleyPlus, including a budget of more than $500,000. The associate dean will directly supervise the directors of the health center, counseling center, BentleyPlus and the associate director of communications and programming and provide overall leadership to 25 staff. The associate dean is a key member of the division of student affairs and serves as a member of the vice president's leadership team. This is an exciting time at Bentley as the university advances toward creating a space on campus that will house these three areas in addition to being an overall hub of innovation and inclusion.
Qualifications The successful candidate will hold a master's degree in student affairs, public health, or a related field and a minimum of seven years of progressive experience in public health, higher education, or a related field. The next associate dean will have a passion for college health, wellbeing, experience in the higher education environment, and strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, along with excellent management and critical thinking skills. Demonstrated interest and experience with promoting social justice and working with marginalized, underrepresented, and underserved groups is also required.
