Dunwoody College of Technology is seeking to hire an energetic and motivated Intern in our Career Services department working out of our campus in downtown Minneapolis alongside an innovative team. As our Career Services & Student Life Intern, you will coach students on how to find an internship, help with interview preparation, and provide feedback and resources related to résumé writing. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to help facilitate our bi-annual career fairs that take over Dunwoody’s campus during the fall and spring semesters.
This is a part-time position, 18-20 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
What you will get to do:
Provide career coaching to individuals and groups related to job/internship searches, resume/cover letter writing, career fair preparation, and preparing for job interviews
Develop comprehensive career services programming and resources for student use.
Present in student classrooms and facilitate career services workshops across the entire student population.
Work with internal and external populations to positively affect student employment outcomes.
Assist in managing online resources (Handshake, Big Interview, website, social media)

Qualifications
Previous experience working with students in a post-secondary education setting.
Previous experience working with diverse and under-represented populations.
Ability to work 15 hours per week, evenings and weekends when necessary.
