The Recruiter is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing student recruitment activities on all College campuses under the leadership of the Director of Student Recruitment.
The Recruiter will demonstrate and promote a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
Responsible for coordinating a variety of on-campus, off-campus, and virtual events such as information sessions, campus tours, and admitted student events; hosting meetings with prospective students and their families and assisting students in navigating the admissions process.
Participate in high school visits, college fairs, community events, and other potential recruitment locations to inform the public about the College offerings.
Collaborate with various community-based agencies to increase community outreach and build pipelines to raise awareness of services and programs offered at CCC.
Engage prospective students, parents, partner school staff, and community partners through appointment, telephone, text, and email.
Provide follow-up communication to prospective throughout the admissions process; from prospect to applicant.
Prepare recruitment materials for campus display and distribution to prospective students and community members.
Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating recruitment and outreach efforts for specific target audiences, including marketing materials and communication plans.
Identifies recruitment opportunities to increase the number of minority or underserved applicants.
Working as a collaborative team member to ensure a seamless prospective student experience.
Ability to work directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds.
Handle administrative duties, phones, copies, and reports in a timely manner.
Related duties and projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree, Bachelor's preferred.
Experience working with a diverse student population.
Experience with public speaking.
Highly energetic, flexible, and motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Availability to work a flexible schedule with occasional early morning, evening, and weekend activities.
Valid driver's license, insurance, and personal vehicle.
