The Student Coordinator will support the mission and vision of Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences at Baylor University by assisting the Masters of Science in Medical Science (MSMS) Program Director (PD) and Program Manager (PM) in coordination and management of the administrative operations to include supporting prospective and current students, in an effort to ensure successful recruitment in the MSMS program; assists the PD, PM, and other MSMS faculty to ensure efficient, effective operations throughout the MSMS program while coordinating with RCHHS and other University departments as necessary in the management of the online student affair operations of program (to include but not limited to student records and maintenance of reporting requirements).
A Bachelor's Degree and two years of relevant work experience is required. Three years of relevant work experience is preferred.
All applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
Essential Functions (include but not limited to):
Manage daily correspondence with prospective students either by phone, in person, or email regarding questions related to the program.
Work closely with Robbins Enrollment office to nurture prospects to admit.
Vetting MSMS applications for course prerequisites and required documents. Facilitating online interview process.
Schedule and host informational webinars, with MSMS stakeholders
Create and maintain records on current students and MSMS alumni
Work with program manager to process and execute MSMS Committee Packet
Assist the program director, program manager and Robbin's College marketing and graduate enrollment team to ensure compliance with university guidelines
Create, update, and distribute recruitment reports to the program director and program manager regarding admissions. Assist in executing strategic enrollment plan in collaboration with the MSMS team.
Accountable for confidential information related to prospective and current students.
Serve as the central point of administrative contact. Scheduling advising appointments and managing program director's calendar.
Assists PD and PM in implementation of MSMS program-related projects and events.
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
Ability to comply with University policies.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Secondary Functions:
Attend HHPR/MSMS Department faculty and staff meetings, participate in HHPR/MSMS Department community service projects as time permits.
Perform other duties as assigned by the MSMS Program Director and Program Manager.
