Athletics Fan Engagement Game Day Staff
Student and Campus Life (SCL) inspires transformation in all Cornell students on their journey of individual, academic and personal evolution. The Athletics Fan Engagement Game Day Staff position is responsible for providing enthusiastic and effective support for marketing and promotional activities during athletic events. The role is pivotal in enhancing the fan experience and fostering a vibrant game day atmosphere. Students in this role will also support event production and assist with contributing to the overall game day environment.
Candidates must be professional, reliable and possess excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills. An ideal candidate should have an interest in a career in athletic ticketing, sports marketing, communications, multimedia, or other related field and have knowledge/interest in college athletics.
Purpose of the position
Assist with on-campus events that work to promote upcoming games and increase visibility of university athletics within the campus community and student body. Oversee customer entertainment programming for home games and contests, ensuring a memorable experience for fans. Serve as a game day ambassador, providing excellent customer service and upholding game day policies and procedures.

- Responsible for general supervision and/or activities at specific athletic activities
Knowledge/Experience required
- Position may require basic first aid knowledge including CPR
- Knowledge of specific equipment or sports terminology may be necessary
