Providence Country Day School, an independent school serving students in grades PK-12, seeks a dynamic, versatile educator who will serve as a long-term substitute history teacher for three Middle School History courses.  PCD’s Middle School History curriculum focuses heavily on the writing process and the use and analysis of primary and secondary sources. Our 8th graders spend the majority of the school year focusing on United States History, with particular units on local Rhode Island history, utilizing field trips and other local resources to make the course come alive.
