Summary:
Reporting to the Vice President of Enrollment Management, The Director of International Admissions & Partnerships, is responsible for all activities related to the recruitment and enrollment of international students. The Director creates and carries out a strategic enrollment management plan to increase the enrollment of international first-year, transfer and graduate students through direct recruitment, agency agreements and management, establishing partnerships that build on the University?s strengths and brand, and collaborating with campus partners on outreach efforts and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Using internal and external data sources and leveraging Manhattan University's programmatic strengths, create a robust international recruitment strategy to meet the institution?s enrollment goals.
Build relationships with international student advisors at high schools and community colleges.
Identify, develop, and manage partnerships with international higher education institutions and organizations to increase brand awareness and enrollment.
Vet and develop relationships with agencies in selected regions; manage agency contracts and fees.
Leverage the University's academic community and campus partners to further increase brand awareness and new international student enrollment.
Keep the enrollment team and key stakeholders abreast on matters related to immigration, SEVIS requirements, rules and regulations, English proficiency standards, international transcript evaluation, international student mobility and programmatic trends, and any external factors that impact the institution?s ability to meet international enrollment goals; serve as one of the institution?s DSOs.
Provide guidance regarding the support of continuing international students.
Manage vendor relationships including lead generation vendors, memberships, and budget.
As a member of the enrollment management team, participate in the daily operations of the admissions office, application review, and in recruitment and yield events including but not limited to open houses and admitted student days.
Establish and monitor departmental goals, objectives and ad hoc projects. Prepare annual reporting of goals. Provide support in submitting annual and/or governmental surveys.
Additional Information
The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years of experience in international recruitment/enrollment, international student services, international academic program development/oversight, international partnerships or similar.
A Bachelor?s degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
Knowledge of SEVIS and previous work as a Designated School Official is required. Knowledge of Banner and Slate are helpful.
This position may require staff supervision.
Salary: $140,000 - $160, 000 Per Year
