Western Kentucky University, Gordon Ford College of Business Dean's Office, is seeking applications for an Office Coordinator for Student Success Services. This position reports to the Director of Student Success for the Gordon Ford College of Business (GFCB).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide office support for the academic advisors in the daily function of advising undergraduate majors and minors in the Gordon Ford College of Business.
Assist with student file update and maintenance, word processing, planning, and preparation for scheduled student services events.
Provide support for advisor's appointment calendars.
Add, generate, schedule, run, and disseminate report requests for advisor support.
Provide service as a receptionist for the student advising area of the college, to include facilitation of student and staff communication.
Assist with advising for students with business minors.
Provide support for the other Student Success functions as needed.
Manage, train, and supervise student worker staff
Recruit, hire, and train student tutors
Manage Clothes Closet and donor drop-offs
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Considered Essential for Success:
Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills
Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work in a team environment
Possess a strong work ethic
Self-motivated
Ability to maintain long periods of computer concentration
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail
Amenable to occasional work outside of regular office hours for special events
Job Requirements:
Two-year post secondary education plus two years related administrative experience
Additional Information:
Salary: $15.13 - $ 17.49/hr
