JOB SUMMARY: Provide transportation for athletic team competition and field trips as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive 14-passenger van for athletic team competition and field trips as assigned.
Maintain qualification and credentials for driving 14-passenger van.
Collaborate with coaches and faculty on trips to ensure collegiate goals of trip.
Report vehicle issues/concerns to maintain safe and properly operating vehicles.
Report all motor vehicle accidents to the police, College campus patrol, and the Business Office no matter how small the cost of damage or who is at fault
Implement emergency procedures (including but not limited to roadside assistance) as needed to ensure safety and care of all passengers.
Follow college policies and procedures related to employment and motor vehicle usage.
Observe all traffic regulations and ensure safe operation of the vehicle at all times.
Provide other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Under the general supervision of the Executive Director of Business Services
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must be 21 years of age or older with no less than 2 years of driving experience. Must have a valid driver’s license issued in the United States. Commercial Driver’s license (CDL) preferred.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working with the public providing excellent customer service.
Must provide authorization to allow college to access and review personal motor vehicle driving record.
