Reporting to the Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion, the Senior Director of Identity and Belonging will serve as an essential member of the Diversity and Inclusion team at Whitman College. The Senior Director is responsible for managing the administrative and programmatic operations of the Identity and Belonging area of the Division which includes a constellation of student-facing units (Religious and Spiritual Life, Intercultural Center, LGBTQIA+ Student Services and the new Third Space Center). The Third Space Center is a space designed to center the cultural wealth, community needs and concerns of minoritized students of color at Whitman. The Senior Director will operate the Third Space Center and supervise the three full-time professional staff in the Identity and Belonging
