The Health & Wellness Special ProgramCoordinator will address health & wellness across the College campus. This the person will oversee and managerecords and data concerning student vaccination records, coordinate the medicalre-entries, work with the Associate Dean of Students on code of conduct mattersand coordinate the process of scholarships connected to Basic Needs andEmergency Grants. This position will primarily be on campus, and may includesome work done remotely. The position reports to the Associate Dean of Studentsand works closely with many members of the Student Development staff.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop, implement and evaluate health & wellness programs tailored to the needs of MassBay students;
- Identify emerging health trends and student concerns to enhance programming initiatives;
- Foster a culture of wellness on campus by engaging with students, faculty and staff;
- Partner with key on-campus and off-campus stakeholders on the planning and implementation of campus-wide health and wellness programming efforts;
- Oversee the process of receiving and reviewing student's immunization records. This includes assisting with the collection, coordination and approval of all student-required general immunizations including, MMR, varicella, tetanus, hepatitis B and meningitis, as outlined in Massachusetts state law;
- Communicate with students about any necessary follow-up or questions regarding immunizations;
- Report immunization compliance information to the state on an annual basis;
- Maintain confidentiality of data and records;
- Oversee the medical re-entry process for students who have been hospitalized;
- Work closely with the Associate Dean of Students on Code of Conduct matters;
- Coordinate with Student Development Staff on the organization and dissemination of basic needs scholarship funding;
- Work closely with Vice President of Student Development and Associate Dean of Students on special projects;
- Assist with front desk/administrative coverage in the Student Development office;
- Assist with database management;
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Education,Counseling, Psychology, Business Administration, Marketing, EducationAdministration, or other field related to area of assignment; with three (3)years experience and/or training involving area of assignment, which mayinclude business management, program/project management, grant administration,budget development, community relations, curriculum development, education,counseling, substance abuse, non-traditional student services, or publicassistance programs; or an equivalent combination of education, training, andexperience.

- Master's degree;
- Background in higher education, medical administration, health care, public health, public policy or emergency preparedness;

- Demonstrate outstanding stewardship, relationship building/management, and a high level of confidentiality;
- Demonstrate excellent and positive interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrate communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and presentation;
- Maintain a high level of organizational and time management skills;
- Demonstrate flexibility in juggling competing priorities and changing expectations;
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency when appropriate;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Additional Information:
Salary Range: $64,292 - $72,796.38, in accordance with one's education and experience as dictated bythe collective bargaining agreement classification compensation structure.
