Patient Service SpecialistAbout the OpportunitySummaryThe Patient Service Specialist will perform administrative duties using specific knowledge of medical terminology and hospital, clinic, or laboratory procedures. Duties will include reception, registration, and scheduling of patients; answering a high volume of phone calls; working with clinical providers regarding patient requests, concerns, and services in person and/or by means of an electronic messaging system; data entry; and other health center-related correspondence. This is a 40-hour-a-week position that includes one late night a week and rotating Saturdays.
