The Staff Psychologist/Therapist position provides a wide range of professional mental health services to the Wright State University community and serves as a core professional staff member at Counseling and Wellness Services. This is a 12-month full-time position. This position reports to the Director, Counseling and Wellness Services.
Required Qualifications::
Doctorate degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology by start date and licensure as a psychologist within 12 months of hire OR a Master's degree in Counseling with a license as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). LPCC applicants must obtain the supervisor credential (LPCC-S) within 12 months of hire."

Previous work in a university or college counseling center.Supervisor credential as Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC-S)
Essential Functions and percent of time::
Provide intake assessment, psychological assessment, crisis intervention, individual, couples, and group therapy to WSU students (60%)
Serve as a liaison between Counseling and Wellness Services and one or more University departments/units (3%)
Provide consultation and outreach programming services to Wright State University students, faculty, and staff regarding psychological issues (2%)
Provide supervision and training for trainees/interns as needed (20%)
Provide consultation supervision as needed.(3%)
Provide service to the University community via committee membership on a minimum of two University committees (a minimum of one within the division of Student Affairs). (2%)
Participate in Counseling and Wellness Services Staff meetings and Supervisor's meetings. (10%)
Working Conditions::
General Office. Some after-hours work during clinical emergencies or as part of campus programming may be required, but position is generally not part of 24-hours hotline staffing roster.
