Summary of Duties:
This MBA Admissions Manager position is responsible for administering faculty determined policy and processes for all admissions activities for the Carson College of Business Masters Programs. This position directly supervises three positions: a Program Coordinator, Credentials Evaluator and Program Assistant. This position also works with an online service provider counterpart to direct the enrollment advising team through the admissions process, following policies and procedures set by the Carson College of Business (CCB) and/or the university. This position is accountable for maintaining those CCB standards and responsibilities and holding the admissions teams and counterparts to those standards. Should standards not be met, this position has authority to mediate. Duties include, but are not limited to, management of the admissions process, reviewing and analyzing application materials, evaluation of transfer transcripts, assessing academic qualifications of applications, responding to academic inquiries, developing individual academic plans, supervision of admissions processing personnel, management of the policies and procedures related to admissions, recruitment and the student information systems.
This position is eligible for remote/hybrid work options.
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. Experience leading or directing the work of others. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Experience maintaining and tracking admission records in paper and electronic form.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying academic rules, policies and procedures.
Experience supervising and supporting team members.
Demonstrates professionalism.
Excellent time management skills .
Attention to detail .
Demonstrated ability to solve problems, identify problems as signs of larger root cause issues and make recommendations.
Demonstrated skill with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook, and student information systems (i.e. Banner, People Soft).
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience providing student admissions support at WSU or other higher education institution.
Demonstrated experience in a multi-campus system with academic partners, both internal and external to the university.

Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
