Job Summary Coordinate the efforts of Field Specialists statewide, work with the Assistant Director of Field Services to ensure Healthcare and Family Services behavioral health services and new initiatives are accurately represented in all work products and messaging, and train and coach the Field Specialist team. Duties & Responsibilities
Trains and coaches Field Specialist Team:
Assists with hiring, onboarding and supervising daily activity of Field Specialists statewide via in-person and web-based training and supervision in conjunction with Assistant Director of Field Services.
Facilitates standardized team activity to ensure consistency of training content across the state.
Serves as primary Subject Matter Expert and works in conjunction with Assistant Director of Field Services and Workforce Development Coordinator to ensure Medicaid enrolled providers have access to technical support and coaching to implement behavioral health initiatives including integration of the IM+CANS.
Works with Assistant Director of Field Services in order to ensure appropriate live and webinar training coverage for all provider trainings on a monthly basis.
Facilitates Training of Trainers when new curriculum is launched.
Consults with Assistant Director of Field Services, Office of Medicaid Innovation (OMI) and Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) to ensure standardization of messaging to successfully implement new services across the behavioral health transformation initiatives.
Responsible for development and implementation of staff development plans as necessary.
Trains and coaches Providers on HFS behavioral health services including IM+CANS
Provides training in order to model facilitation of content for new specialists as well as to introduce new training curriculum to providers.
Provides direct field support and coaching to providers as necessary in order to meet provider need and demand.
Monitors training and coaching delivery including providing feedback and with integration of data.
Other duties as assigned. Statewide travel required.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in a human services field from an accredited college. Minimum three years of Behavioral Health Services (Clinical) supervisory/management experience. Clinical licensure in Illinois, LPHA status pursuant to 89 ILAC 140.453. IM+CANS trainer level certification within 90 days of hire. SOC trainer certification required within 120 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
1-3 years of experience using the IM+CANS tool in the field, and one year of training experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrated knowledge of community mental health services. Highly organized, ability to work independently. Appointment Information
This is a 100% full-time Academic Professional position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after the job posting closes. Fully remote or hybrid work may be considered for this position. The minimum of the salary range for this position is $70,000. Salary is commensurate with experience.
