Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business is searching for a Senior Academic Coordinator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by providing senior level support to academic programs in a department, school, or college. This role will manage relationships with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and industrial partners.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Answers student questions regarding registration, curriculum and related issues and/or directs students to appropriate contacts or resources.

• Publish and write for social media content creation, working with students, faculty, and alumni to capture the spirit of the program,

• Creates and nurtures relationships with organizations to develop a network of enthusiastic organizations engaged via active participation in the success of program.

• Provides creative, appropriate, timely, and unique solutions for overall event plans and plays key role in driving each event, including at times being on site for events.

• Attends meetings and training sponsored by Enrollment Services and related training.

• Coordinates course schedules, room assignments, and documenting the academic calendar. Collect and update course descriptions, order textbooks, update website and communicate academic system deadlines or requirements.

• Completes special project work or research as directed.

• Coordinates scheduling and logistics for student, recruiting or graduation events.

• Serves as a resource to students, faculty, business managers, department heads and other college or central staff student service departments.

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree required

• 3-5 years of related experience required

• Any Specific experience and skills

• A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
